Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse – DayBreak & Friends 30th Anniversary Concert

Event Details

  • Date: –

DayBreak & Friends celebrates 30 years of memorable concerts at the Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse. In 1996, a group of folk music enthusiasts from Perkasie Mennonite Church envisioned bringing affordable live folk music to the community. Since then, the coffeehouse has welcomed nationally and internationally acclaimed artists while giving regional performers an opportunity to share their music with new audiences. Our board consists of volunteers from the church and the wider community, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make the coffeehouse a success.

Tonight’s concert–October 17, 2026, 7:30 pm at Perkasie Mennonite Church, 320 W Chestnut St., Perkasie–features DayBreak, with Cliff Cole, Trudy Gojeski, and Anna Lisa & Rob Yoder. These folks played at Patchwork’s first concert in ’96. The Cole and Yoder families have been playing Celtic and American roots music together since before Patchwork existed.

Their Friends include:

Rolly Brown – This National Fingerpicking Champion and a Philadelphia Music Award nominee has been a longtime performer and supporter of the coffeehouse. Rolly is a wonder on guitar and a true gem in our local music community.

The Dulcimer Boys with Cliff Cole, Norm Williams, and Rob Yoder is an offshoot of DayBreak, playing Old-Time and Americana on hammered and mountain dulcimers along with a variety of other folk instruments.

TACHYONMETRY – Brian Pearson’s sultry, smooth nylon-string classical guitar is perfectly complemented by the percussive, ethereal tones of Cliff Cole’s hammered dulcimer. They cover a range of traditional to modern sounds.

Shea & Stan – For many years, the Zukowskis have immersed themselves in the Old-Time music tradition, studying, jamming, and performing throughout the Lehigh Valley. Stan’s precise and creative banjo joins Shea’s melodious fiddle for a sound born of American tradition.

Bert Coffman – This local multi-instrumentalist, long-time Bucks County Folk Song Society member, and Patchwork board member brings wit and whimsy to every performance.
