Local conversation about guns
Invites people who disagree
To hear each other with respect

Do you have courage enough to talk about U.S. gun policies with your neighbors? This is the challenge posed by Perkasie Mennonite Church as it hosts a special community event called: “Bridging the political divide: a civil conversation with your neighbors about guns,” Friday, April 27, 7-8:30 p.m.

Learning how to have a civil conversation with others about issues on which there are strong disagreements is the goal of the free community event. It will be led by Jared Byas, consultant for Delaware Valley Business Center, a counselor familiar with conflict resolution skills.

The event will be held at Perkasie Mennonite Church, 320 W. Chestnut St., Perkasie, PA. The goal will not be to come to a consensus, but to look for areas of common concern, to express opinions, and to listen to each other with civility. Persons from both sides of the political divide are welcome.

Address questions to info@PerkMenno.net or 215-257-3117. This is one of a series of Live Listen Local: 2018 Free community events sponsored by the church.
